Same but tougher. Thinking moves faster when brain matter is hot and liquidy. Chemicals spurting around your brain (emotions and such) do work which creates heat keeping brain liquid. Over thinking makes and keeps brain over think some more.
That’s my hypothesis anyway. Still needs repair but until brain matter physically cools down and congeals a little, you’ll have trouble getting to sleep.

I had trouble sleeping yesterday and the day before and brain was racing. I wondered why and this is what came out of it. No idea if it’s right. But I splashed my face with cold water a few times and oddly enough, went to sleep.
