They thought us 4th graders would burn the school, set desks on fire, cause havoc and anarchy

I might have been influenced by my 4th grade music teacher, Ms Greene. Time travel – hop in my TARDIS:
I’m 10 yrs old. 1982. “Star Blazers” was the only Anime available [it didn’t exist as a Genre yet] – which I also watched over one summer obsessively.

It’s October 1982. Pink Floyd’s The Wall had just been released a few months before.

She plays what was “New Music” at the time. “We don’t need no education” for us and teaches us to sing it.

She got fired a month later because of it. They thought us 4th graders would burn the school, set desks on fire, cause havoc and anarchy. We were not allowed to sing the song anywhere on school premises.

So yeah, Goes WAY back tongue emoticon
