There’s not going to be a 2nd civil war.
We’re too lazy for that.
People only show off guns for show.
Action opportunity for civil rights took place during BLM protests and 2ndA folks were silent. Opportunity lost. Show of hands made already.
We’re not better than that though. We’ve never been better than that. Look at America’s past Presidents. When have we been better than that?
He bends a knee to others who he thinks are like himself. He has Mafia-complex. He believes he is a mafia boss. He’s not.
I’m of the nihilist Gen X generation. It’s like we collectively took “fukitall” pills.
But I was also in Boy Scouts and did church stuff and felt Civic Duty stuff. So I vote, I think the Constitution is a decent enough living document with potential, I love multicultural USA with bits of melting pot and bits of enclave so long as it’s by choice and not redlined in, etc.
I don’t think there’s ever been a President I “believed in”. But I think it matters to put one’s say in, even if it’s a minor difference of degree which it usually is.
This case, it’s not a minor difference of degree. It’s a different in kind. A big one.
oh yes. I’m voting for Biden/Harris. I’m just mocking the attempts at painting Harris as a far left. Wish she was but she’s pretty standard American center-right, which is no worse than we’ve had before and far far superior to what we have now.
and, women have to be 10x tougher than men in American politics, so if she successfully conveys being “tough” then she’s done well. Plus, she’s led large government organizations so that alone would qualify her but there’s many reasons.
It’s not even a case of forgiveness, more like, ‘ok, enough mourning, fuck it it’s a movie”.
