They meet the kids one-on-one. advertiser vs human. Human has to figure out if they’re being told the truth or lied to, whether to pay attention or ignore, and the advertiser pulls out every stop they can think of to convince and do so as DIRECTLY to the person as possible.

There’s no proxy. No teacher. No parent. No authority. It’s entirely direct. It’s one of the very few places children’s thoughts and opinions are taken seriously, even if it is only as a means to sell their product, but nevertheless, they are taken seriously.
