THERE’S my “paintable computer”. I had this damn idea since I was a kid, painting a computer on a surface, harvesting energy from the environment and containing very tiny self-organizing components to take care of each of the necessary functions of a computer.
Anytime I have an idea, I know that *somebody* else out there either already *had* the idea, *is* having the idea, or eventually *will* have the idea, and be in a position to do something more interesting with it.
Enter Bill Butera, 2002 ( and those inspired by him )
Now I can relax. I can look at the work that’s been done, see how it compared to other similar ideas in spatial computing and move on.
