Thing about this: it goes way beyond awkward moments into career stalling, promotion withholding, even into what amounts of workplace prostitution. “Perform or else”.

It’s easy to say “That’s how things used to be”. The big gigantic flaw with that argument?

It wasn’t like that everywhere or even in most places. Why? Because most men are decent now just as then. The problem is with those who aren’t.
