There’s enough Putnam republicans – who are centrist and not of the low Trump caliber – to add to the Progressive and Democratic votes.
No shows could be a problem though, as can bigots within the Progressive and Democrat ranks.
Had Putnam won the Republican side, I doubt any Democrat or Progressive would stand a chance, as Putnam is well known, despite all of *his* foibles.
But with no-personality “I love Trump as much as you” guy on the Republican ticket, that’s about all there is to offer and nothing else.
I’ll take him at his word and not let it cloud my enthusiasm. If it turns out, “oops”, then so be it.
He was sued by the NRA, twice, and won both times.
It wasn’t long after that that “uh oh, investigation”. He was cleared of wrongdoing and not the target.
But is this payback by the NRA? Oh yeah. It is.
Of course. That’s why I’m focusing on the positives of which there are far more.
I got two choices. I saw the FBI thing and his old friend gong down. I had 5. I looked at the 5 and his promises suit me as does his work in Tallahassee.
Gillum was it.
Now it’s 2. Gillum or Desantis.
Am I going to push for Gillum? You bet. Is it a long road? You bet.
I’ve been an Independent for too damn long. I hated political and business corruption because it’s ALWAYS there.
At least Gillum’s getting his closet cleaned out now. What will be left? If it’s not him, and I don’t think it will be, nothing will be left to investigate.
So, I push with that as a certainty.
If I’m wrong? Oh well, just another politician that did corrupt things and I can shake my head “tsk tsk business + politics tsk tsk”.
So, I’ll push for going clear and not join the Republican chorus trying to bring him down.
Who would I be saving face for in being negative?
Do I care if Desantis supporters go, “haha, your guy’s corrupt, lol roflmao”? Nah.
So, I don’t have to impress them either way.
