There’s a lot of misinfo going around. a) They came, sat, ordered. b) The family WERE served both their first and second courses. c) meanwhile, the staff called the owner, who was not there, to say who was there and why it bothered them. d) Owner arrived, politely brought Sanders to the patio, told her the situation and Sanders agreed to go. Family offered to pay for what they ate but the restaurant said it’s on the house. That was it.

But think about it from a capitalist perspective: One family = nothing to a restaurant.

But, Sanders abused her position by complaining directly about this specific restaurant. Her tweet WAS illegal.

Yet because of the free publicity given by the White House of the United States itself, they’ll have business for years to come.

If Sanders was law-abiding and said nothing, the incident would just be a local restaurant david + goliath story.

You’re inventing a fictional story loosely based on a real one. I didn’t say why and it wasn’t that.

  “Right to refuse service to anyone” doesn’t apply to WH Press Secretaries. I’ll have to tell the next President’s Press Secretary that. Sweet!

HEY, is Sean Spicer RETROACTIVELY covered?I’ll take your word for it Jeff. Whatever was said is true. Point is, David got a Goliath. I shed no tears.

  To the staff at Red Hen, 200 MILES AWAY from Washington DC, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is Joseph Goebbels.

They didn’t say it, but they didn’t have to.

Having kids attend school affords parents protections as well, at least from school authorities.School cannot get involved.

I forgot what state implemented a policy that forced all teachers and staff to report certain things that ended sith students having no one to talk to that led to a big problem, but I don’t remember when or where.
====
 SOMEHOW I think the mandatory reporting ties directly into this case, where ANY school official has full in loco parentis,, which is too much power imo, although at the same time, having some in loco parentis is good as kids need to be able to go to someone outside of parents.

So, it’s a hard balance I suppose.
