There once was a day, long

There once was a day, long ago, where things were not as they are.

A wiggle, a jiggle, a clock and a fiddle,

Travelling near and far.

Hopeful ones, they did not wince.

Not cry, not scream

Before or since.

They calmly sat and looked for the day,

That seemed so very

Far away.

But then the past came true to now,

nobody knows who, when or how.

All did stand and take a bow.

For the show does carry on, my friend.

The show does carry on.
