There is always a daily situation where you have to take a side. Keeps a lot of people employed. Whole media empires are built on conflict of Red vs Blue. They can’t survive without it. They’ll have nothing to do.
That’s where mainstream media has an edge: If there’s NO political conflict, they have 1000 other things to report on. But online political opinion people, that’s ALL that have to talk about.
