What happens inside need expansion though as metrics are far different.
Generic definition of metric. It’s “measuring” as in “gauging”, as in “noticing” as in “distinguish and compare”.
Comparing properties is information about the conceptual container. It’s still a grouping.
A full rendering of information would require including our conceptual containers, our participation in the discussions, the transformations that occur in our brains and in computers, and measuring the heat or other forms of work but on a very small scale.
I see things as either:

I see a full application of information theory (standard or quantum) as “b” and its scope is breathtaking.
But normally all we work with is “a”.
