unfortunately, for a good portion of the population, including otherwise very intelligent people, Science=Fact=Literal. If a Scientist says it, it’s *literally* true. They forget that: Scientists are Humans who speak in Metaphors. The thing about a metaphor: it takes a lot of existing knowledge in the receiver to interpret the logic of the metaphor being used _properly_ and without the same internal logic… false connections are easily made.
