Agreed. I might even take a step too far and say the map and territory are the same, because they’re unified and in constant conversation with each other.

A territory without a map isn’t a territory because anybody who is situated on/in/around/near a territory begins to map it at the first glance of the territory or experience of it.

The territory guides the map and since all we have to work with is the map, the map *is* the territory. This proves what you say, “it’s always the map and never the territory”.

Yet, there are many maps and many mappers, hence, confusion tongue emoticon
