Indeed and true. I like when I can stop at “closed parts”, where I’ve reached “up to” a spot and can stop with some sense of partial completion.
The remaining parts remain, out of my reach and that’s ok because I know that either i or somebody else somehow can continue later on and I can move on to other things.
My problem is I’ve never learned “team player”. I like doing as much as I can, how I want to do it, as much by myself as I can. Of course I’m really gathering lots of raw materials and tools by others but I like putting them together myself.
But working on a team, or leading a team, is something that’s always been beyond me. I can cooperate but I like feeling my projects stand as my projects, even if they end up in other projects.
Those who can collaborate and work on projects together have my respect because it’s something I can’t seem to do.
