The people in actual positions of power are corporate, which tends towards a banal conservativism. They “speak the words” of whatever’s favorable at the moment: right now, it’s leftist notions – but they’re still the same old corporate entities as always. FOR EXAMPLE: The so called “Liberal Universities”? Aren’t. Some of the students? Sure. Some of the professors? Sure. But the administration? Conservative. A very basic kind of conservatism. Not radical. Not far-anything. Just basic. This is true whoever has the leadership positions in bureaucracies. Because bureaucracy likes stability. Stability is conservatism.
