The large spread of people protesting is a part of democracy. But being an oligarchy, with politicians that roll like boulders in a deep pit, it’s hard to make change, even with media coverage.
Too many people get bitter and jaded too early. It’s hard not to.
This meme made me think of you Koen, although it’s wrong. You *do* care, which is why you work so hard to sift through bullshit, even if sometimes you throw away the good with it. At the same time, fuck it amirite? It’s a curious paradox that I think makes for a strong generation.

Local regulations often have zero to do with the EPA. Their target was always huge corps. Now with Trump’s “old energy” deals and the ongoing dismantling of the EPA, big corps will be FREE to do their top-down on anybody without any oversight.
