The keystone pipeline was for Canadas benefit. It was a doomed project from the start. Its history is pockmarked with starts and stops.
The beneficiary of the pipeline was to be Canada, not the USA. Any “jobs” that might have arisen were temp jobs as it was designed to be staffed minimally in the USA.
It would’ve created more permanent jobs in Canada. But not the USA.
It’s a bugaboo. Look into the history of Keystone pipeline from standard news articles (not the hyper politicized ones) from early on through and you’ll see it never should’ve begun.

I don’t care that people blame Biden a lot of things. He’s just another stupid President to me along with Trump Obama Bush, etc.
But to say that we became dependent on Russian oil in just a few months time is silly when they’re not a part of our oil system. They’re BRIC I think, aren’t they? We’re OPEC. I don’t remember the acronyms.

W post Presidency, yes. During? Not so much. I vote a mixture of Independent, Democrat and Republican.
His was the only republican presidential election I did, although I did vote republican on a few more local ones on occasion.
It was for 2004. Why? He had his daddy’s cabinet. I liked his daddy’s cabinet. All familiar faces. All smart people who I disagreed with (war mongers) but at least I understood them.
A month later he fires them all and gets his own people in that I didn’t know.
Well, that was the last time I voted for someone for their cabinet.
But post presidency and as a public figure? Yeah, I like him.
