^The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Things always seem better elsewhere, just out of reach.
"Look at them, they've got it better." So much of our lives are wasted always looking at what you THINK other people have that is so much better. But do you know that there may be people that look at YOU and your life and think, 'man, they don't know how good they got it. They've got it so much easier / better / less worries / less bills / more money / more power / happier family'. All of this may be true. All of this may not be true. But when you get those feelings of envy, you have to do this: Pull back and see a bigger picture. The grass may be greener, but the house is a shambles inside, or the bank accounts are empty, or the 80 hour work week to get there means they can't even enjoy what they have.
Pull back, look at your own life. See the positives in it before blindly leaping into the unknown, just because you THINK someone else has it better. They probably don't have it better – and worse, while you are busy being envious of them, THEY are envious of someone else – perhaps even jealous – and are equally unsatisfied with their lot in life.
The only way to win, is to not play the game. Stop looking at their lawn. It's creepy, anyway.^
