the ‘gist of it is “halloween is too scary now, it used to be cute”. This is a common American sentiment from the people that grew up with Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin and don’t like the newer hyperrealistic Mexican “day of the dead” and horror-movie style decorations common now.
Now I think all that stuff is great and kids love the scary stuff.
But I understand people like that and know people like that so when I see
“Man Stands Up To People “Offended” By His Halloween Display”
I think “that’s a man that needs a life”.
