Awesome! That’s where perspective makes such a difference. You’re used to seeing an “external me” and so you can see more things than I can about my face. You can also compress my face more in your mind and able to recreate it.

But I look for more cues, more information. Being my own face, I look at little imperfections and changes through the years. Plus, there’s the internal model of ‘self’ that keeps getting in the way of being entirely objective about my own face.

So by the time it reaches this point of information loss, to me, I disappear. But to you, I’m still there, able to be reconstructed.

Thank you for being specific about the cues — this helps me in my research. That tells me these are some of the standout features that I might be missing.
