I had a dream. I woke up.
What I remember?
I thought of three things that encompassed all of human knowledge and understanding, misunderstanding, misrepresentations and truths.
Then I saw a sheep wearing a sheep costume. The sheep disappeared, leaving the costume dropping to the ground.
A cow wearing a costume of a stereotypical cow. The cow disappeared, leaving behind the cow costume and the echo of a “moo”.
A grassy field, with each blade of grass wearing a grass costume. The ground and grass disappeared, and the grass costumes floated away into space.
I woke up and wondered whether a culture of lifelong nudists would be more honest due to living in a culture less dependent upon surface appearances and how it might be represented in their language.
Then I realized how ridiculous that was and laughed at myself, and wished I could remember the three things that encompassed all of human knowledge and understanding, misunderstanding, misrepresentation and truths.
