The definition I gave was Wikipedia, enough to satisfy a quick bit of curiousity about whether it was worldwide or not.
I can find a better definition. It did not come from epistomelogists nor from microbiologists to my knowledge but I don’t know who edited the wikipedia article.
Epidemic – “the rapid spread of disease to a large number of people in a given population within a short period of time”
Pandemic is basically a worldwide version of an epidemic.
This is why governments put lockdowns in place.
Sweden’s model is a failure. A good scientist abandons a hypothesis when confronted with contradictory evidence that is sufficient to falsify hypothesis.
