The corrections officer that was tackled and brought in was guilty until proven innocent. That’s the issue here.
The criminal or civil courts will figure that out.
There’s always two courts and public opinion is one of them.
I’m not in a position to cause any modification whatsoever to those officer’s lives. But I’m going by the information at hand. Should that information change then my opinion can change.
I could _also_ sit back, not share the link, not have a discussion, leave it alone, their problem and not mine.
In the end, it does not matter what I think here. I’m not stopping the courts from doing their jobs, am I?
I went by the bias of the news story. I could’ve tried to argue against it but I didn’t have a problem with it. didn’t like the perspective of the news story. That’s fine too.
A few shitty cops here, a few shitty cops there, a few shitty cops in this other place. What are they even DOING there? Get rid of them so the good cops can do their jobs. I don’t know what your problem is. They’re doing a good thing by getting rid of shitty cops. Applaud them.
