The computer is a pale imitation of a brain.

But if you think about it, it’s not.

Brains are still superior to computers.  Computers didn’t build brains.  Brains built computers.

But you almost never see anybody pointing that out.  Instead, we try to cram the complexities of a brain into a limitations of a computer.  Computers were modeled after brains.  But brains are not modeled after computers.

And yet, when we say “the brain is a computer” that’s what we’re doing.

So, we all have it backwards.

What’s REALLY happening is:

The computer is a pale imitation of a brain.
