The body of interpretation BEHIND that “one line” is simply huge.

I like Neil but as nice as the T-Shirt slogan sounds, I think his head may be a little in the clouds here.

It’s not the one line constitution: It’s NOT even a one line constitution: There’s a single “one and only one” way that you’re allowed to INTERPRET that one line.

The body of interpretation BEHIND that “one line” is simply huge.

T-Shirt slogans are great for T-Shirts but not for governments because you have to accept the entire context within which that one line is formed and accept the WHOLE THING, without deviation.

An analogy: Family. Family is parents and kids in a unit that is supportive of each other… theoretically anyway. So, “Focus on the Family” sounds like a great one-liner right? Who could be against family?

Who could be against reason?

There’s excess baggage involved in both cases.

Sorry Neil, but as good as you are with some things, this one was a bit of a bust.
