The article preys primarily on confirmation bias: it’s telling us exactly what we WANT to hear, so we believe it.

Not all atheists evangelize the dangers of religion and not all religious people are irrational and downright scary.

The bishops did their job. Blessed stuff. The highly trained air force had a mission to go on later on. What was that mission? Happened to be Syria. It could’ve been something else.

WHY did Russia bomb Syria?

Well, then you’re going into politics more than religion. The article is lying. It is hyperbole. It preys on ignorance of the public to the difficult political realities faced by large countries.. It is manipulative of our imaginations and in short:

This article is FALSE.

I should correct the above. It’s not preying on ignorance. The article preys primarily on confirmation bias: it’s telling us exactly what we WANT to hear, so we believe it.

The power and influence of organized news media is far more detrimental.

We’ve witnessed it happening right here, between you and I, just now.

That’s power.
