 I think it’s lack of precision in definition that’s the problem.

How do you eat an elephant? Small bites. Same thing applies.

Rather than tackling the vaguarities of awareness or consciousness, break it up into manageable pieces and tackle them as best you can.

That’s the approach I’ve been taking, as I really do want my brain to be online and available for no particular reason but that I want do.

So, I’m doing it in whatever forms I can do it in at present.

Long before computers existed, people had their thoughts preserved for posterity in some form or another. I don’t see anything more magical happening with regards to consciousness/awareness except perhaps an attempt to mimic the processes in a manner that can be convincing to others that “it’s AWARE!”

But we can do that already, even since first gen AI in the 60s.
