That’s how things were, yes. I know how things were. They filter through Congress, get watered down, etc. That’s the process and our slow government is one of the big reasons for America’s longevity: not much changes.

The tax code overhaul doubled my mother’s fixed income taxes permanently along with many others. A monoparty Senate and House and Executive WITH a court leaning their way can cause a LOT OF DAMAGE in two years’ time.

I’m watching my gov in Florida and his administration and Florida’s congressional Republican majority do speed runs over the last 6 years decimating SO MUCH of Florida’s laws, including how bills can be proposed, how voting takes place or doesn’t – new crimes invented out of thin air….

and any unraveling of this kind of spaghetti mess may well be impossible.

You may consider them Order Agents but I consider this Chaos Agents. Pooping on the walls of the Capitol building level and walking away letting someone else clean up the mess.
