Sports as a road to success for boys is heavily promoted at a young age, money as a goal is promoted, learning to do a good hustle as ways to make it in America as an American black man by very effective or at least very believable American male black mentors and I admire their work. Much of American black culture is a kind of conservative but not in a white Republican conservative way. Family unity is stressed. There is a homophobia that’s not stressed but common.
