I hear the difference between the new style rappers. It only sounds the same if you’re listening uncritically but once you accept THIS IS A NEW STYLE, you listen for the differences and they’re there.

I went through the same thing when I first heard Dubstep years back. I couldn’t hear the difference. But all of the sudden, there it was, I could hear it.
