That was well put. My “woo” over the resonance thing though is: How is it resonant at all? Why / how does it have a resonant frequency? WHAT is resonating? I got side-tracked into bond graphs because it’s new to me — and looks like something I can learn – — but I’ll return to that resonance query at some point.
