That humans can conceptualize various ways to move through time shows that we are all time travelers.
If we lacked this capability, there would be but “now” along with other side effects.
Future is simply the past inverted.
Yup. Actual future is something we are entirely blind to. Actual future frightens. So, we prophecize, predict and plan to ease the unknowing.
Physics (regular, not so much quantum) feels nice because the powers at play are far older and bigger than us and seem immutable.
What comes up, must come down.
We can build machines and bridges that work – for a time.
All of those falls apart eventually but the creators of those things won’t have to live to see them gone.
Engineering, physics. It worked in the past. It’ll work today. It’ll work tomorrow.
Will it work 1,000,000,000 years from now? We don’t know. Even physics has its temporal limits.
