That doesn’t mean that “Reason Wins” but what it *does* mean is that people aren’t as stupid as sociologists, politicians and statisticians make them out to be.

I mean WHILE someone’s on a drug, there’s the TINIEST BIT of truth to, “It’s the drug talking, not them”, that’s ONLY as much true as someone having loose lips from drinking, or being tired, or not caring.

I’m hooked on cigarettes. Nothing will stop me.. so it seems.

if I was in a program offering cash? Sure I’d take the cash. I can fight bad feelings for enough money. I’m not stupid tongue emoticon

I grew up in the era of THE WAR ON DRUGS and it drove me nuts hearing this crap over and over again. I remember when CRACK BABIES were “the thing”… ’til they discovered the babies got off their addiction after a few weeks. They retracted the article only after a year.

But people STILL kept talking about “crack babies” 10-15 years AFTER they discovered it was ultimately a farce..I bet people STILL say “crack babies” AS IF it’s a real thing.

That doesn’t mean that “Reason Wins” but what it *does* mean is that people aren’t as stupid as sociologists, politicians and statisticians make them out to be.
