That’s very true Jon – and I think as years go by, and you “become yourself” (whatever that may be!) you get more fickle, or start thinking “how much work it is to be a friend” Or you’ve had the clingy friends – the ones who call 800 times a day, who are ‘too intense”. I guess the real answer to “being a friend” is, well, DOING it – but as for me, I usually end up posting things like, “How to be a friend” and hoping someone gets a little inspiration out of it – rather than getting “out there”. I still think everything we need to know we learned in Kindergarten, just like that book from the 80’s said. “
