In 1986 on my – found it – 1984 14 inch color TV from Emerson – https://www.visualalchemy.tv/1984_14_emerson_ec131 – that bass was the closest thing to explosion/electric guitar distortion / melodic cannons I could make – and I remember tweaking the instrument to really make that little speaker work the bass.
