Still, I don’t know if two by chance sequences that’s favorable that evolve separately within two unrelated species that end up with a similar but not identical result through stages that may not resemble each other at all could be considered as on the same branches in the same ontology (in this case, a taxonomy). It’s not set up that way. They’ll be on the tree-of-life together but with no other connection.
