Star Blazers 2199 What was amazing to me is the love they must’ve put into it.

I saw some clips of it and I’m really impressed! What was amazing to me is the love they must’ve put into it. I saw Star Blazers in 1982/1983 when I was 10/11 years old during a long summer on a strange cable channel. I was shocked that people DIED – important characters – week after week – and that there was SO MUCH EMOTION… I never got so emotional over a show before. They just *didn’t* do that on kids TV — ANYWHERE. So when I saw some clips of the remake I recognized _everything_. I remembered. I’m confident I could recommend 2199 to anybody new to Star Blazers / Yamato because I could ‘feel’ the faithfulness to the original. [even if some little details were changed for flow (I read about some of them)] the benefits of better graphics and just the love they put into it gives it my recommendation.
