Standard bias is: “billionaires are rich because they work harder and people that work harder get richer and they deserve their wealth because of their hard work”.
But an objective look at billionaires and hard work is almost never the reason for their wealth. Far from it.
It’s not hard to dismantle the myth of the self-made billionaire.
Just go one at a time, look at how they really acquired capital, not the stories they or their people tell (PR / marketing) and I doubt you’ll find a single case that was actually due to working hard.
Work is hard when you work for other people without a say in your progress.
Work is easy if you have a say in your progress.
