Some of it, yea. My mom taught me to ‘make do *(be creative with what we had) and I self-educated in the public library a lot. That public library made me an early advocate for internet when it became available for self-education and grouping with like-minded people as well as exposure to diversity; and seeing Wikipedia arise, despite the negativity that’s foisted on it frequently, as the culmination of some of the best of what’s possible in crowd-collaboration; not perfect but alright.
