So, we’re more individuated – and this is worldwide. Small nuclear families, the “kick the kids out of the house so they can get their own houses” as adults, communities tend to be unplanned and sporatic with politics at play instead of properly managed cities and neighborhoods… ..an “every man for himself / dog eat dog” attitude wherever you turn…

So, we’re more individuated – and this is worldwide. Small nuclear families, the “kick the kids out of the house so they can get their own houses” as adults, communities tend to be unplanned and sporatic with politics at play instead of properly managed cities and neighborhoods…

but city planning brings up images of big centralized government and media repeated fears of “1984” drummed into our heads over and over again for decades and so opportunities for safe humane community planning within which proper mental health care and a sense of safety where relationships can flourish naturally within are few and far between.

This isn’t everywhere of course or likely even most places. But the “feeling-as-if” things are that way is common i think.
