So much has been damaged and much of it irrepairable (appointment of federal judges, supreme court justices and probably the tax changes) that a reset to 2009 is not the worst option for four years, as don’t forget the ACA as it came out was crippled by the Republicans. and yet it still was an improvement upon what was there before, which most people seem to have forgotten. Look at two directions: One: Further privitization and loss of safety net or: Two Reset to 2009 as a base and work towards M4All from there in a future presidency. I’d be happy with this: “Biden’s plan also calls for the end of the Hyde Amendment, a provision that prevents federal funding for abortions unless a child is conceived through rape or incest or the mother’s health is in jeopardy. ” and other little ridiculousnesses put into play that should not exist but will stay with Trump. https://www.nbcnews.com/card/biden-health-care-plan-would-build-obamacare-n1029811

But I’m coming to see that this attitude is just my nature. Here I am saying the same thing in 2014.

There was no Trump4President 2016 or 2020 in 2014.

But I thought the same way. So, we probably have different life approaches and won’t be able to come to agreement on this. I have ranges of tolerances. Trump is outside the range of tolerances and Biden is within the range of tolerances.

 ‘d put Democratic party just a little over to the right side but that’s because I’m way off to the left.I want a tug-towards where I want America to be rather than a tug further away. If I thought it would cause a tear that would revolutionize America and then we could shape it to be what we want to see? Then I’d say FOUR MORE YEARS OF TRUMP FOR THE REVOLT PLEASE.But I don’t see that happening at all.
===
 Do you think a Trump win will cause a civil war? I don’t. We’ll roll over and take it.=
==
  President does not have unlimited power.Look at the immense difficulty Trump is having in executing his whims.This is why your analogy is based upon a flawed premise.
===
 The concern is consolidation of power at the Federal level that’s been happening, if allowed to continue in its current route, MAY lead to a situation where you _will_ have somebody who potentially has unlimited power.This is true for only ONE of the two choices.It is not true for Biden/Harris because that is not how they roll. Their respective histories speak to that.

===
  tl;dr:
You won’t see a King Biden or a Queen Harris. They stay within the bounds of Law and will be Presidents.
But you may see a King Trump.

  She’s more Progressive than anything that’s gotten that high up.
Which President/VP was NOT “tough on crime?”
:: crickets ::
It goes with the job.
It’s annoying but normal.
