So, in computing you make assertions: LET A$ = “THING”

Good good. You are both teaching me synonyms Jeoffrey Wortman and Scott Brizel

I come from a computer science POV.
So, in computing you make assertions:
LET A$ = “THING”

So now: A$ = “THING”, A$ = A$, “THING” = “THING”, A$ = TRUE, “THING”=TRUE, A$=”THING”=TRUE

That’s setting variables. But it’s also called making assertions. It is also dogmatic and logically structured models that stand detached in a this-is-thus (as per Scott Brizel ) and it is also poetry and modern day mythology and post-modern (as per Jeoffrey Wortman ).

So thank you

That inspired me to make: http://icopiedyou.com to capture my thoughts once and for all because Facebook was and is one of the absolute worst websites for losing what one is typing far too easily.

Well, postmodernism has basically moved offstage a few decades ago and what we call postmodernism today more likely includes the multiple levels of intersection, sometimes referred to as postpostmodernism or metamodernism and some other attempts at naming.

My favorite one that ‘clicks’ nicely with me is called… oh what is it called… ah yes, ontological plurism. A definition:

“Ontological pluralism is the doctrine that there are different ways or modes of being. In contemporary guise, it is the doctrine that a logically perspicuous description of reality will use multiple quantifiers which cannot be thought of as ranging over a single domain”
