So, I make it a regular habit to annoy other people showing them different points of view whether they like it or not.

Exactly. The main point of my exercise was that it pisses me off that my education, the news we receive, etc all show a single, common, distortion of the world – and it’s annoying to me that I should “feel” that these other maps are wrong. Intellectually I know they’re right, but why do I get this, “ugh” feeling when I see a different projection?

It’s deeply ingrained and it bugs me. I’m smarter than that and yet my ‘gut’ was trained on a singular perspective.

Quite so. So, I make it a regular habit to annoy other people showing them different points of view whether they like it or not. I like getting those automated responses broken and I inflict it on others frequently. I like getting “woah, mind blown” but if I get someone mad at me, it’s just as well.
