So, I dunno. I don’t think there’s a way to split ourselves off from the world economy with drastic tariff increases and hard-nosed negotiating tactics.

Well, politically, I don’t agree with either Trump or Sanders: Both are protectionist, which might be fine in the very-very short term, but no to the extremes either one wants to do.

Not that Clinton is better – to me, she’s an everyday centrist politician: most high up politicians don’t sit at the extremes like Trump or Sanders do.

But I can’t see protectionism working. I WANT to: I love the idea of circling the wagons around the USA, licking our wounds, fixing our broken systems. But I don’t think we can: we like our Walmart and Dollar Stores (I do anyway): we don’t have the facilities to build computers as cheaply as China and getting white people to take over and start picking tomatoes isn’t something I see happening anytime soon: There’s only about a 5-6% unemployment pool to pull from to get all the food from grove to table and nobody’d be able to afford it.

So, I dunno. I don’t think there’s a way to split ourselves off from the world economy with drastic tariff increases and hard-nosed negotiating tactics.

Maybe I’m wrong though. I hope I am.

Well, to me, we have systems in place for wealth distribution: We have the IRS + Social Security and related programs. One collects, the other distributes-as-needed. Use what we got: make improvements.

We’ll always have poor. We’ll always have rich. We’ll always have workers, entepreneurs, dead weight and system abuses alike.

More transparency is needed: I live in a state of transparency (Florida) and even though my ideals lean towards a social anarchy, living in a right-leaning low-tax, good-for-business state with transparent (as possible) government police and criminal, has actually been rather nice.

If you do wrong, EVERYBODY finds out: it’s why Florida’s always in the news. There’s no privacy ’cause security. Oddly, it works. I’d never have believed it ’cause I’m from NJ, my idealism shaped in Hampshire College (uber liberal Marxist let’s-all-get-along) and yet, living it, a kind of hands-off but don’t fuck up, kinda works.

At the same time, though, it sucks on social programs. They need more work in that area. But I dunno what the perfect system is anyway. I don’t think any country ever “does it right” without some problems that just can’t lick.

Anyway, that was kinda heavy – but yeah, your rap skills are top notch and I hope I see a youtube channel or some kind of name for yourself. I think you’re definitely ready to break out and shine. I wish I was a talent agent: I see talent and skill and I’d love to have the connections to go, “Hey kid, you got it – here’s your talent agent. Good luck! like emoticon “.
