I’ve watched my own words disappear. 29 years online, there are few records of my 1989-2001 activity. It’s ‘around’ in bits and pieces, but if I didn’t back it up and if there wasn’t an archivist-minded individual watching, it’s gone.

Information is only theoretically forever. Classically? When it’s gone it’s gone.
