Since they’re ultimately human endeavors – when considering AI as human tools – I appreciate the ai slop as a process of human artistic development.
For example: two years ago, hands with many fingers. Now they’ve fixed that. Faces merging with spaghetti. They fixed that. These temporary forms will arise and fade and new ones replace them.
But who curates?
Who curated previously?
Is there any alive that has not had their sensory inputs curated by Edward Bernays?
The man who perfected snake oil sales into a functional formula that is the mastery of propagandizing people:
give them an IDEAL to hang on to and hook your product or service onto that IDEAL.
Scary thing is: It isn’t just ideals FOR a product or service, but perhaps even MORESO the Luddite desire to destroy the factories of the automated weaving machines that has long been given the Bernays treatment.
And we adopt all the buzzwords of the “anti”, the rebel against the trend, not seeing that we’re as utilized or more and our original thoughts and ideas, when we find them mirrored in so many places, end up having been provided as well.
