Sin is missing the mark. We all do it, every day. Reduction of sin is sending a rocket to the moon:
You don’t just calculate, aim, shoot, close your eyes until arrival.
It takes thousands upon thousands of tiny course corrections to get there.
It’s easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle for a wealthy person but not much easier for any of us.
The Bible does use crimes as a metaphor for sin but it also uses disease as a metaphor for sin, and disease is a better metaphor.
Salvation is the salve.
Your soteriology makes all the difference in how you proceed in salvation.
Is it a correct soteriology?
