I’m disappointed the NPR article did not make mention of her; I think the modern mythology is that the woke cancelled Aunt J or something but really it was her tireless efforts for a long time along with many others, and likely the corporate heads to finally say “yeah, well, ok maybe it’s not a good look” but I’d hate to think she shouted in the wind all those years.
