Our hand at helping evolution along has nothing to do with evolution. ok. The lines you draw are vapor. I’m agnostic, not atheist, and see evolution as a historical thing but nothing terribly magical just a small subset of combinatorics or a foreshadowing of chaos theory (which is better described and more applicable than evolutionary, even though its rooted in such).

“Has nothing to do with” in your mind perhaps and as a word game but the historical connections all flow into one another. It’s be daft to not see it. Example: Replace the word atheist with secular (which is functionally atheist) and you can’t hold your argument for a moment.

I”m not anti-atheist just realistic about historical facts.

and no, Eugenics is modern. Were aspects of it foreshadowed in ancient rome and greece and other cultures? Sure. But it’s Darwin’s cousin that got the ball rolling in what we call Eugenics today.

You want an unblemished movement in human history you won’t find it.

have to go out to my 6th grade nephew’s graduation and don’t have time to be sucked into the old four square game of, “no, you’re really an atheist” 21 questions charade. But I’ll play later maybe. It’s a tiring game though.
