Schools are little govts unto themselves, only loosely linked to the land they sit upon.
I’m proud of these kids for walking out anyway, knowing the cost of a suspension is much smaller than the cost of inaction. Their public school time will eventually pass, “permanent record” disappearing in the midst of time but this lesson will remain.
